Did You Hear The Buzz?

It’s getting late---if I was smart I’d go to sleep. But I must share this with all of you: the cat is officially out of the bag. The Daily Buzz has two book pick’s for the month of May. A Connecticut Fashionista in King Arthur's Court by Marianne Mancusi and Sex, Murder and a Double Latte!!!

Things just gets better and better—which is so strange since it wasn’t too long ago that I couldn’t help but feel that things were continually getting worse.

Okay, one last quick question for all of you: For those of you who have read Sex, Murder And A Double Latte, who do you think should play Sophie in the movie? That’s not to say that there will ever be a movie—it’s very likely that there won’t be. But it is being considered by some agents and the question has come up. If you have thoughts on the matter post a comment or email me privately.

Okay, I’m going to sleep now. Actually that’s a lie. I’ll get in bed and I’ll spend a half hour writing in my journal and making notes on the outline for my next book. Then I’ll read for another hour and tomorrow I’ll wonder why it is that I’m addicted to coffee.

Girl -- You are on fire! I'm so happy that good things are happening to such a good person. As for the daily buzz, of course I'm biased, but I like the cover of your book better. (Oh, I know this is completely off message but I used the postcard feature on your website to send recommendations to buy your book to two of my girls. That's the first time I've ever seen that feature on an author's website and I really like it!)

You're truely representin' for the biracial babes among us!

Congrats!

Signed,

Thanks Trina!!!

First: Thanks for the compliments on the cover. I have to give the credit for that to Red Dress Ink not only for having a wonderful art department but for actually asking their authors what they want their cover to look like and then (and this is the amazing part) listening to them.

Second: Thank you for using the postcards!! I thought it would be a fun promotion technique that would also make my site more interactive--I'm glad you agree!

Third: I am so very thrilled that there is finally a biracial chick being featured in mainstream commercial fiction. And I'm obviously even more thrilled that that biracial chick is my Sophie; )

Fourth: 3 copies at B&N?!?! Trina I LOVE you!
